ABSTRACT A coupling unit of two multilayer cables of a stator winding of a high-voltage generator, located in the end-face portion thereof, comprises terminations of multilayer cables, wherein conducting layers are concentrically ar-ranged and separated from one another by insulating lay-ers, jumpers electrically coupling said conducting layers. A portion of each insulating layer, facing the jumpers has a shape of an end insulation frustum. Each jumper is a totality of components made as a portion of a hollow cy-linder limited by two planes. Each jumper carries an in-sulating bushings. Thin-walled insulation cylinders are se-cured in each end insulation frustums and in frustums of the insulation bushings. The surfaces of the frustum of the in-sulating bushing, the end insulation frustum, two adjacent jumpers and conducting layers coupled thereto form an in-sulation chamber. The surface of the jumper, the tube of the exterior conducting layer connected to said jumper, the end insulation frustum, the frustum of the insulating bushing, the thin-walled cylinders form an insulation cavity. The in-sulation chambers communicate with one another and with the cooling ducts and with the insulation cavity. The present invention permits direct cooling of multilayer cables of a stator winding, reduction of the dimensions of the coupl-ing unit of two multilayer cables of a high-voltage generat-or stator winding. The use of high-voltage generators re-sults in saving of electrical materials. |
