"2,4-DIOXACYCLOHEXANONE DERIVATIVE" ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE 3-(2-Methoxy-phenoxy)-3-methyl-benzo-2,4-dioxacyclo-hexanone of formula (I) a process for its preparation through reaction among the chloride of acetylsalicyclic acid, guaiacol and pyridine are described. The product has antitussive activity, anti-inflammatory activity and antipyretic activity. |
