abstract | PRECISION OF DISCLOSURE: Method for cultivating microorganisms in a medium comprising a hydrophobic material containing microorganisms, by the use of nutritive substances in aqueous solution microemulsified in a water immiscible liquid. We uses water-soluble compounds as the nitrogen source such as urea, nitrate, sulfate, ammonium phosphate, such as source of phosphorus from water-soluble compounds. The medium must also contain a direct carbon source highly assimilable. Application of this process to cultivation microorganisms, allowing the implementation of operations consisting in degrading hydrocarbons covering a plane water or soil; particularly interesting application for oil spill control operations, by biological gradation. |
