abstract | ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An imaging method, and novel materials, in which there is provided an imaging mono-layer comprising a plurality of electrically photosensitive particles which comprise a resin carrier, a colorant dye, an electrically photosensitive organic material, a sensitizing dye, and a solubilizing agent for the sensitizing dye in the organic material. The imaging mono-layer is subjected to an electric field, exposed to a pattern of sensitizing electromagnetic radiation, separation of the photo-sensitized particles from the unsensitized particles, and color-amplification of the desired image by imbibing the colorant dye into a suitable substrate. |
