Abstract of the Disclosure A device for gas jet cutting of materials, comprising a head, the case of which accommodates a primary and a secondary combustion chambers interconnected by an axial passage, and injectors for supplying fuel and oxidizer into said combustion chambers. A nozzle mating with said primary combustion chamber ejects a cutting gas jet, and an igniter is fitted to said secondary combustion chamber. Said oxidizer supply injector communicates with said primary combustion chamber through the axial passage. Inasmuch as the weight and size of the device according to the invention are small and the parameters of the cut-ting gas jet are nevertheless high for cutting nonhomo-geneous materials, the novel device can be advantageously employed for rescue and recovery operations in all types of transport. |
