titleOfInvention | Styrene butadiene toner resins |
abstract | ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention is directed generally to dry electrophotographic toner compositions comprised of a colorant and a styrene butadiene copolymer resin having a weight average molecular weight between about 60,000 and about 180,000 and a molecular weight distribution between about 5 and about 15, the percentage of styrene present ranging from about 80 percent to about 95 percent, with the percentage of butadiene present ranging from about 5 percent to about 20 percent, such toner having a minimum fixing temperature of from about 250 degrees Fahrenheit, to about 300 degrees Fahrenheit, and a fusing temperature latitude of at least 100 de-grees Fahrenheit. |
