abstract PRECISION OF DISCLOSURE: The present invention relates to new derivatives (2-pyridyl) -2 tetrahydrothiophene of general formula (I) in which R is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl radical from 1 ? 4 carbons and R1 and R2, identical or different, represent feel a hydrogen atom or an alkyl radical from 1 to 15 carbons optionally substituted by a hydroxy radical, dialcoylamino of which the alkyl parts contain from 1 to 4 carbons or phenyl or else R1 and R2 together form a hete-6-membered rocycle with or without another heteroatom that oxygen or nitrogen possibly substituted by a radical alkyl containing 1 to 4 carbons. The invention also for object the salts of said derivatives, when they exist, their preparation and the drugs that contain them. The new derivatives are useful in particular as anti-ulcers.
