abstract | ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A new process is disclosed for the prepar-ation of bis-indolic compounds. The compounds are made from natural alkaloids such as vinblastine or vincristine wherein a number of species having anti-tumoral properties can be isolated, Two compounds are reacted together in the presence of an immonium ion forming reagent to obtain an immonium ion to reduce the first compound and isolate the compound having the anti-tumoral properties. The new compound has the configuration of natural alkaloids, character-ized in that it arises from the reaction of vindoline, desacetyl vindoline. dihydro-14, 15-vindoline, vindorosine or dihydro-2, 16-Na-methyl-methoxy-11 tabersonine with coronaridine, catharanthine, allocatharanthine, dihydro-catharanthine, dihydro-allocatharanthine, voacangine, isoracangine, or conopharyngine. |
