abstract | ABSTRACT This invention relates to a generator for technetium-99m comprising a container in which is provided a matrix in which technetium-99m is produced. The matrix comprises a compound of molybdenum containing molybdenum-99 in a substantially non-elutable form in eluants which may be used in a radiopharmaceutical, the matrix permitting diffusion of technetium-99m therethrough and elution therefrom. The invention is also directed to methods for forming the generator. |
