abstract ABSTRACT DESCRIPTION Process for the preparation of mononitrated derivatives in position 5 or 6 of tetrahydro-1,2,3,4 anthraquinone ca-characterized in that one submits tetrahydro-1,2,3,4 anthra-cene-diol-9.10 at a nitration, by the action of nitric acid or a mixture of nitric acid and sulfuric acid. This pro-yielded allows to obtain selectively and with excellent the monosubstituted derivatives in positions 5 and 6.
