abstract | R. Schadow 33 ELECTRICAL SNAP-ACTION SWITCH Abstract of Disclosure Snap action switch with a sheet metal spring divided by slots into two or three coherent strips, one of which is shortened by way of bending. The bending is effected by clamping the strip between abutments formed by the upper and bottom part of the housing, which latter part consists of a plate with a printed circuit thereon forming the fixed contacts of the switch. L-shaped stripes, which ex-tend from the unshortened strip into the free space bet-ween the shortened strip and the unshortened strip have the movable contact on its free end. The sheet metal can be extended beyond its cross web with a movable contact on the end of the extension and located with the cross web on an elevation of the bottom part to form a further con-tact so that a make-brake contact is obtained. |
