titleOfInvention Device for treatment of the surface of round timber
abstract DEVICE FOR TREATMENT OF THE SURFACE OF ROUND TIMBER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A machine for the treatment of the surface (bark) of round timber includes at least one arm adapted to per-form a rotational movement around the timber and to be swingable towards the timber under spring force. At its free end this arm carries a detachable working tool that has a substantially pyramidal portion adapted to co-operate with a recess in the free end of the arm. This recess has a shape at least partially corresponding to the pyramidal portion of the tool in order to establish an unrotatable (unyieldable) joint between the tool and the arm when held together by a force acting substantially in the direction of the axis of the pyramid.
