titleOfInvention | Heat developable photographic materials containing 2- carboxycarboxamide organic salt as activator precursor |
abstract | Abstract of the Disclosure An activator precursor which is an organic salt, which is preferably an activator-stabilizer precursor, con-taining an organic base portion which is a cationic moiety and an organic acid portion which is an anionic moiety, has improved properties when the acid portion is a 2-carboxy-carboxamide. The activator precursors are useful in photo-graphic materials which are responsive to heat for processing. The activator stabilizers have improved coating properties and do not release undesirable volatile materials upon heating. |
