ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved process for the preparation of nitrosoben-zene by the catalytic reduction of nitrosobenzene is disclosed. The improvement in the process comprises utilizing as a reducing agent a compound selected from the group consisting of aliphatic compounds containing from about one to about twenty carbon atoms, benzene, napthalene and ethylenically unsaturated compounds containing from about two to about ten carbon atoms. |
