ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Coated Abrasive particles are prepares by milling diamond/or CBN abrasive particles, metal compound and milling balls to smear a coating of the compound on the particles and firing the compound-coated particles producing a rough granular adherent covering of metal and/or metal carbide in the case of diamond and boride or nitride in the case of CBN which is chemically bonded to the particle surface. |
