ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The specification describes a process of producing an acid addition salt of 2-(7-indenyloxymethyl)morpholine repre-sented by the general formula wherein R2 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a phenyl group, or a benzyl group. The process comprises adding to a mixture of the 2-(7-indenyloxymethyl)mor-pholine represented by the general formula wherein R2 has the same significance as defined above, and the 2-(4-indenyloxymethyl)morpholine represented by the general formula wherein R2 has the same significance as defined above, an acid in an amount of slightly less than the stoichiometric amount to isomerize the 2-(4-indenyloxymethyl)morpholine. |
