A B S T R A C T Dentifrice possessing enhanced polishing characteristics containing as the essential ingredients at least one hard abrasive in amount to provide a radioactive enamel abrasion to the dentifrice of above about 400, such as calcined alumina, zirconium silicate, and the like, and a non-toxic compound in an amount to provide at least about .0065% by weight of zinc to the dentifrice. |
