titleOfInvention | Quaternized polymers, process for their preparation and their applications |
abstract | PRECISION OF DISCLOSURE: The subject of the present invention is new polymers based on recurring units of formula I (I) in which: X? represents an anion derived from an acid organic or mineral; R'2 is an aliphatic radical having maximum 20 carbon atoms; R'1 is an aliphatic radical, an ali-cyclic or an arylaliphatic radical containing minium 2 and a maximum of 20 carbon atoms; or the remains R'1 and R'2 attached to the same nitrogen atom represent together with this one cycle that can contain a second heteroatom other than nitrogen; A represents a divalent group of formula: in which x, y and t are whole numbers that can vary from O to 11 and such that the sum (x + y + t) is su-less than or equal to 0 and less than 18, and E and K represent a hydrogen atom or an aliphatic radical having less 18 carbon atoms; B represents a divalent group of formula -CH2 - CHOH - CH2 -, - (CH2) - O - (CH2) n-, or- (CH2) v - CH- (CH2) z - CH - (CH2) u-DG D and G representing a hydrogen atom or a ra-aliphatic dical having less than 18 carbon atoms, and v, z and u are whole numbers which can vary from 0 to 11, two of them can simultaneously be equal to 0, and such that the sum (v + z + u) is greater than or equal to 1 and less than 18, and such that the sum (v + z + u) is greater than 1 when the sum (x + y + t) is equal to 0, and n being an integer equal to 2 or 3. The invention is also relates to the process for the preparation of these polymers which are used as cosmetic agents. |
