ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides a composition having affinity for hepatitis virus, comprising a water-permeable matrix material, onto which is coupled a hydrophobic ligand. The invention further provides a method of removing and concentrating hepatitis virus from a mixture of biological hepatitis virus-contaminated material comprising bringing the hepatitis virus-contaminated material into contact with the above described composition. |
