abstract | ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE 4,4-Diphenylcyclohexylpiperidine compounds and their analogs of the formula: wherein the dotted line in Ring A indicates an optional bond; R1, R2, R3 and R4 are independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a trifluoromethyl group or a lower alkyl group; n is 1 or 2; m is 0 or 1; and Am is a piperidino group of the formula: , where R5 and R6 are independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a trifluoromethyl group or a lower alkyl group, and the dotted line in Ring B indicates an optional bond; and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof are disclosed. They exhibit potent and long-lasting psychotropic effects. |
