abstract ABSTRACT Process for the production of an ester of 3(2,2-dichloro-vinyl)-2,2-dimethylcyclopropane carboxylic acid in which diazoacetic ester is formed in a first vessel and continuously transferred in a solvent to a second vessel where it is reacted immediately with 1,1-dichloro-4-methyl-1,3-pentadiene. The process is less hazardous than known processes.
