Abstract The disclosed invention is a gravity pourable explosive composition comprising a solid explosive ingredient, a polybutadiene based binder cured with a diisocyanate, and a surface active agent. The explosive composition according to the invention exhibits improved physical properties e.g. viscosity and gel time, which facilitates processing, particularly at low temperatures; and improved mechanical properties eg. elongation and strain. |
