abstract PRECISION OF DISCLOSURE: The invention relates to a slag treatment and slag from the manufacture and various treatments of irons, cast irons, steels and non-ferrous metals. The process consists basically to inject into this slag and slag then that they are in fusion and before their cooling, powdery and dry metallic carbonates capable of releasing non-polluting gases by thermal dissociation except metallic carbonates whose metal is poisonous for the dairy. These powdery carbonates have diameters of grains ranging, for the majority, between 20 microns and 10 milli-meters. The slag and slag obtained, easy to fragment, can be used in many fields such as: construction and building, realization of grounds, abrasive materials, filtration water, fertilizers for agriculture, etc.
