abstract | Abstract Amino derivatives of triazolo[4,5-b]pyridines having the general formula wherein R is hydrogen or lower alkyl; R1 is hydrogen, lower alkyl, phenyl or phenyl-lower alkyl; R2 and R3 each is hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, lower alkanoyl, phenyl, substituted phenyl, phenyl-lower alkyl, di-lower alkylamino-lower alkyl, benzoyl, substituted benzoyl, phenyl-lower alkanoyl, substituted phenyl-lower alkanoyl, lower alkanesulfonyl, benzensulfonyl or toluenesulfonyl, all of said substituted groups being phenyl bearing one or two lower alkyl, halogen, trifluoromethyl, amino or carboxy group; or R2 and R3 together with nitrogen to which they are attached form pyrrolidino, piperidino, pyrazolyl, pyrimidino, pyridazino, piperazino or one of said heterocyclics bearing hydroxy-lower alkyl or one two alkyl groups; R4 is hydrogen, lower alkyl of phenyl and physiologically acceptable salts thereof are disclosed. The novel compounds are useful as central nervous system depresents and antiinflammatory agents and increase the intracellular concentration of adenosine 3',5'-cyclic monophosphate. |
