abstract | ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of a polyvinyl butyral composite interlayer for laminated safety glass. A color gradient is printed onto a polyvinyl butyral sheet and the printed surface is then combined to a second sheet of polyvinyl butyral. The composite sheet does not require any dusting to prevent ink strike off and the problem of undesirable ink transfer in rolled sheet material is minimized. |
