titleOfInvention Preparation of sulfonic acids derived from paraffinic hydrocarbons by s02 and 02 hydroinjection
abstract PRECISION OF DISCLOSURE: Process for the continuous preparation of paraggine acids sulfonic by photochemical sulfoxidation of paraffinic hydrocarbons final, comprising reacting a gaseous mixture of anhydride sulfurous and oxygen on a liquid paraffinic phase in presence of photoactive rays. The process of the invention is characterized in that at least part of the gas mixture is injected into the liquid phase in the form of a fine dispersion in a fraction of the paraffinic phase serving as a vehicle to the gas mixture. A device for implementing the method according to the invention is also described. These measures includes a reactor with a photochemical light source and containing the paraffinic phase, and at least one hydroinjector intended for injecting the gas mixture into the reactor and having inlet ports for working fluid, suction and discharge, the discharge orifice opening into the reactor, the suction port being connected to a supply new or recycled gas mixture of sulfur dioxide and oxy-gene and the motor fluid inlet opening being connected to one at least reaction medium recycling pipes, supply of new paraffins, and recycling of paraffins recovered after separation of sulfonic acids.
