abstract ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a method for producing mixed polymers of tetrachloroathyl esters of unsaturated organic acids, having the general formula I: (I) where X represents a radical selected from the group consisting of: CH=CH2, , COC1, and characterised in that it comprises heating a mixture of compounds having the general formula I with vinyl or diene compounds in the presence of a polymerization initiator at a temperature at which the initiator decomposes into free radicals. This method provides polymeric materials with suppressed flammability.
