abstract PRECISION OF DISCLOSURE: The subject of the invention is a breathing apparatus for scuba diving type consisting of a waterproof breathing bag and deformable, in pressure balance with the outside, in which diver breathes in and out, which bag is fitted an exhaust valve and communicates on the one hand with means absorbing CO2 and on the other hand, with bottles, fitted with an oxygen regulator and a compressed neutral gas, communication with the neutral gas cylinder being made at through a valve secured to a pallet on which the wall of said bag when the volume thereof is reduced, at minus one oxygen partial pressure sensor which delivers a voltage proportional to said pressure, a solenoid valve placed on the circuit connecting the oxygen cylinder to said bag and electronic control circuits connected to said sensors and to said solenoid valve, which circuits control said solenoid valve automatically in order to maintain the pressure partial oxygen supply in said sensitive respiratory bag-ment equal to an adjustable setpoint, characterized by what said solenoid valve and said electronic circuits are placed in a waterproof case which communicates with the interior laughing of said respiratory bag. According to another characteristic of the invention, this device comprises a bottle provided with a regulator containing a respiratory mixture of oxygen and gas neutral tablets, which bottle is connected as well as oxygen and neutral gas cylinders on a two positions with an operating handle, which distributes stopper allows to interrupt the feeding of the respiratory bag from the oxygen and neutral gas cylinders and the replace with backup power from the plug skin containing the respiratory mixture. Such a device, equipped with oxygen and helium cylinders, allows diving all depths between 0 and 300 m and this in normally using a closed circuit during the phases of descent and evolution at constant level.
