abstract ABSTRACT A process is disclosed for producing a fruit flavored pancake or waffle or the like. The process first comprises pre-paring a stable fruit piece by liquifying shortening and coating it onto a heated fruit piece. After the fruit piece is cooled, it is added to a pancake or waffle better and the batter is then cooked to form a fruit flavored pancake or waffle or the like.
