abstract NEW THIADIAZOLYLIMIDAZOLINE PLANT GROWTH REGULANTS Abstract of the Disclosure This invention discloses a method of increasing the yield of plant food contained in plant storage organs which comprises contacting the plants having storage organs with from about 0.05 to about 4.0 pounds per acre of a compound of the formula wherein R1 is selected from the group consisting of alkyl, alkenyl, chloroalkyl, trifluoromethyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkylsulfonyl, alkylsulfinyl and cycloalkyl of from 3 to 7 carbon atoms optionally substituted with from 1 to 2 substitu-ents selected from the group consisting of alkyl, alkoxy and halogen; and R2 is alkyl.
