abstract ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE New indole derivatives and their process of preparation of the formula (I): (I) wherein R1 and R2, which may be the same or different, are each selected from hydrogen or halogen atoms or lower alkyl radicals or together R1 and R2 represent a -CH=CH-CH=CH-bridge, with the proviso that R1 and R2 are not both hydrogen atoms, and that when R2 is a halogen atom or a lower alkyl radical, R1 can also be a lower alkoxy radical; the derivatives show strong blood sugar-lowering action.
