abstract | PRECISION OF DISCLOSURE: This invention relates to a method for determining continuous reduction of the internal resistance of an electrolytic tank trolysis as well as an apparatus for the implementation of this process. According to the process, the electrolysis current is superimposed a low alternating current of frequency f, the active part of the impedance that the tank presents to this current alternative, then we extrapolate the function to zero frequency giving the active part of the impedance as a function of the frequency quence f. This active value then tends towards resistance internal of the tank. Said process can be applied to any tank of electrolysis and, more particularly to electrolysis tanks alumina igneous. |
