titleOfInvention | FAST IDENTIFICATION METHOD OF OUTBREAKING MICOBACTERY CEPA AND DIAGNOSTIC KIT |
abstract | FAST IDENTIFICATION METHOD OF OUTBREAKING MICOBACTERY CEPA AND DIAGNOSTIC KIT. The present invention is directed to a method of rapidly identifying the outbreak-causing mycobacterium strain in surgeries by performing multiplex PCR steps of three regions of the mycobacterial genome using primers (SEQ. ID. NO. 1 to SEQ. ID 6) and reverse hybridization of the amplified fragments with specific oligonucleotides (SEQ. ID. NO. 7 to SEQ. ID. NO. 12) fixed on transfer membranes for application to nucleic acid and proteins. Additionally, the present application provides a diagnostic kit for carrying out the method of the present invention wherein the identification of the outbreak strain is based on a single base polymorphism (SNP) observed in the rpoB gene sequence. |
