abstract process of obtaining the hydroalcoholic extract of geopropolis of melipona fasciculata smith (tiúba) for the preparation of pharmaceutical formulations with analgesic, antiinflammatory and healing action. The present invention relates to the process for obtaining the hydroalcoholic extract of melipona fasciculata smith (tiúba) geopropolis and pharmaceutical formulations of analgesic, antiinflammatory and healing action. the samples of melipona fasciculata smith geopropolis, obtained from the inside of the hives, in meliponaria located in the municipality of fernando falcão, in the cerrado region of maranhão state, were submitted to the extraction process in ethanol at 70% for 24-48h, in the ratio of 1: 2 to 1: 5. The extractive solution was filtered using tissue gauze and / or filter paper to separate the inorganic part (soil) and obtain the extractive solution obtained by maceration or hydroalcoalic extract of geopropolis. The solvent was removed with the aid of a rotary evaporator at a pressure of 600-700mmhg and a temperature of 40-700c. Pharmaceutical formulations for oral use were obtained using hydroalcoholic extract of geopropolis at concentrations between .25g / kg to 1.0g / kg presenting analgesic and antiinflammatory activities. Additionally, the present application deals with topical pharmaceutical formulation with healing action, using the hydroalcoalic extract of geopropolis at a concentration of 0.25mg / ml for the treatment of skin lesions.
