abstract LUMINESCENT MARKERS, PROCESS FOR GETTING THEM, METHOD AND BIOMOLECLE DETECTION KIT. The present invention belongs to the field of markers with luminescent properties. Specifically, the marker of the present invention is a nanoparticle comprising rare earth oxides or particle comprising rare earth complexes coated with a cover material such as an organosilane. The coated nanoparticles have a functional group that allows their connection with a biomolecule. The present invention further comprises processes for preparing the markers as well as a method for detecting biomolecules and a kit comprising the luminescent markers.
