titleOfInvention systems, equipment and methods for obtaining intracellular products and cell mass and fragments from algae and derived products and the process of their use
abstract systems, equipment and methods for obtaining intracellular products and cell mass and fragments from algae and derived products, and process for using the same systems and methods for collecting at least one intracellular product (eg, lipids, carbohydrates, proteins, etc.). ) from aqueous suspension algal cells and for collecting a mass of ruptured algal cells and fragments from an aqueous solution containing algal cells make use of equipment that includes an electrical circuit. The electrical circuit includes an external anode structure (eg, tube) that provides retention for an internal structure (eg, electrical conductor) having dimensions smaller than the external anode structure, the internal structure serving as a cathode. a spiral surface, such as a plurality of grooves separated by at least one groove, closely resembling a "groove" in the barrel of a weapon, or alternatively an electrically insulating insulating spacer parallel to both structures (e.g. outer tube and inner conductor) provides a seal to the liquid and provides spacing between the anode and cathode circuits which is required for equal electrical distribution and to prevent shorting of the flow path to the aqueous solution containing the algal cells.
