composite solid propellant and its process of obtaining the present invention relates to a process of obtaining a solid powdered propellant (with a polyurethane binder loaded with ammonium perchlorate and aluminum). characteristically, the ammonium perchlorate charge of the said propellant is obtained from at least two charges that each have a specific monomodal particle size distribution. it is thus possible to reduce thrust oscillations and alumina deposits at the rear of the engine. the invention also relates to a solid composite propellant, solid propellant charges and associated rocket engines. |
