abstract |
Nucleation process and in situ growth of calcium silicate nanometric crystals in cementitious materials, calcium silicate nanometric crystals, use of crystals and glycerine. The present invention relates to the process of nucleation and growth of calcium silicate based nanocrystals and the toughening of cementitious materials resulting from the in situ growth of these respective crystals during the hydration reaction in cement, preferably portland cement or another with similar composition, for various applications, including the increase in the mechanical performance of cementitious materials to fill the underground space between the geological formation and the pipeline for oil or gas exploration in petrochemical wells; the filling of dental and orthopedic cavities and the conformation of structural elements for civil construction. |
