titleOfInvention obtaining tyrosol from "diaporthe helianthi"
abstract obtaining tyrosol from "diaporthe helianthi". endophytic fungi are microorganisms characterized by living at least part of their life cycle inside leaf tissues without causing damage to their host. these endophytic fungi are capable of producing biologically active metabolites that have biotechnological properties. the endophytic diaporhte helianthi stands out for the production of the compound 2- (4-hydroxyphenyl) -ethanol (tyrosol). tyrosol is a phenolic compound with antioxidant, antifungal, antibacterial properties, besides helping to improve the condition of different human pathologies, such as cardiovascular diseases, thrombosis, liver, kidney and neurodegenerative diseases. it is found in wine, in olive oil, in addition to being produced by terrestrial fungi. this is the first time that its production is reported by the endophytic diaporthe helianthi. the present invention reports the isolation of tyrosol from a natural source, the secondary metabolite of the endophytic diaporthe helianthi, which makes obtaining it fast, at a lower cost compared to obtaining it from plants and can be used in the preparation of medicines, ointments, sprays, gels and solutions for internal and external use in the treatment of diseases related to pathogenic bacteria.
