abstract BLOOD COMPONENT MEASUREMENT DEVICE. The present invention relates to a focused portion of a test piece that is easily and safely brought into contact with a drop of blood obtained by the puncture, in order to prevent measurement errors. A blood glucose meter (a device for measuring blood components) (10a) comprising a front fixing part (30) to which a test piece (12) is attached, a measuring part (32) for measuring a blood component that is collected via a blood guide passage (24) on the test piece (12) attached to the front fixation part (30) and a monitor (34) to display the measurement results obtained by the measurement part ( 32). When the device is placed in a horizontal plane with respect to the screen face of the monitor (34) as the top side and its opposite side as the bottom side and the screen face of the monitor (34) is placed upwards, the axial line center (C) of the test piece (12) extends obliquely down to the front side.
