abstract |
"hydrogel transition phase" is a method of forming and resulting from the hydrogel composition comprising polyvinyl alcohol at a final concentration of about 20% (wiw) to about 65% (wiw) and polyethylene glycol at a final concentration from about 2% (wiw) to about 20% (wiw), where the hydrogel composition has a total polymer content, above about 30% (wiw), higher than the total polymer content of a solution of precursor polymer formulated prior to formulation of the hydrogel composition. the hydrogel composition may further comprise polyvinyl pyrrolidone in a final concentration of from about 0.10% (wi w) to about 0.75% (wi w). |
