titleOfInvention REACTOR TANK, METHOD FOR BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT OF FEED WATER IN A REACTOR TANK AND USE OF A REACTOR
abstract reactor tank, method for biological treatment of feedwater in a reactor tank, and use of a reactor the invention relates to a reactor for wastewater treatment, to be subjected to either anoxic / anaerobic or aerobic treatment within of a single reactor volume. The anoxic / anaerobic reaction zone is separated from the aerobic reaction zone by a separator which also functions as a hydrodynamic separator between the two reaction zones. The reactor makes it possible for effluent water to have a lower proportion of suspended solids and also to produce less sludge than comparison reactors. The reactor is additionally more energy efficient than prior art reactors. Several reactors according to the invention may be arranged in parallel so that incoming wastewater can be treated in a residual manner, thereby allowing the maintenance of units to be facilitated.
