abstract BIODIESEL FROM SEED ALMOND FAT. The present invention relates to a biodiesel obtained from almond fat from seeds which are domestic and industrial waste, such as mango seed (mangifera indica). Biodiesel was obtained from transesterification reaction, with methyl route and basic catalyst (NaOH), the lipid source used is not useful for human consumption and the lipids present are predominantly saturated, which gives it solid character. The obtained biodiesel was analyzed by the H1 NMR integrated spectrum and showed an acidity index of 0.72 mgKOH / g of biodiesel, a satisfactory index for its use.
