titleOfInvention | IONIC LIQUID THERMAL BATTERY AND ITS USE FOR ELECTRIC POWER PRODUCTION |
abstract | Thermobattery based on ionic liquids and their use for power generation This report describes a thermobattery for power generation. The thermobattery described in this report uses ionic liquids and employs different pairs of redox lions and different electrodes. Electrochemical devices for the generation of electric energy from a temperature difference between two electrodes are described in which different redox pairs dispersed in different types of ionic liquids are placed, as well as different metals used as electrodes. . The thermobattery revealed in this report consists of a semi-cell that operates at a low temperature and a semi-cell that operates at a higher temperature. The thermobattery can still operate under different conditions as well as different electrolytes, which in this case consists of ionic liquids, redox pair concentration, semicell temperature difference and open circuit cell operating time. As previously described, thermobatteries using ionic liquids such as electrolytes and solvents have not yet been described in the technical and scientific literature. The thermobatteries described in this report operate at temperatures not too high, such as those using molten salts and not too low, such as those that use water as a solvent in the preparation of solutions. |
