titleOfInvention | new aerosol edible foam |
abstract | NEW EDIBLE AEROSOL FOAM. The present invention provides a formulation of a stable aqueous foam containing an aerosolized oil-in-water emulsion useful in the administration of a wide range of therapeutic agents as an alternative to solid or liquid dosage forms which may result in difficulty swallowing or when the amount of liquid to be ingested is limited. More specifically, the present invention provides high-concentration calcium foam formulations for use as a surprisingly pleasant-tasting food supplement that does not leave a bitter taste after ingestion, thus allowing better patient compliance. |
