titleOfInvention automotive laminate glazing, suitable for use with optical sensor, and use of automotive laminate glazing
abstract Automotive laminate glazing, suitable for use with an optical sensor, and use of automotive laminate glazing Automotive use laminated glazing, suitable for use with an optical sensor (eg a handle type sensor), comprises first and a second thickness measurement of the glazing material joined together by a thickness measurement of interleaving material between them, and either of: a) the first thickness measurement is a stained glass body panel having a colored portion consisting of 0.70 to 1.00% by weight of total iron (calculated with fe203), o to 1.0% titania and o to 2.0% ceria, such that the glazing has a transmittance of at least 30% in the wavelength range 400 to 2100 nm, or (b) the first measure of thickness of the glazing material is a panel having a colored portion consisting of 0.30 to 0.80 by weight of total iron (calculated as fe20 3) oa 1 the% ti t (calculated as ti02) and 2.0% ceria (calculated as ce02), and the thickness measurement of the interleaving material is a solar energy absorbing material (ir) such that the glazing has a transmittance of at least 30 % in the wavelength range 750 to 1300 nm.
