abstract | Water Treatment Composition and Method for Recreational Water Treatment The present invention relates to a granular water treatment composition comprising: 35-95% by weight calcium hypochlorite; from 1 to 50% by weight of magnesium sulphate or a hydrate thereof; from 0.1 to 10% by weight of calcium oxide; and from 0.1 to 55% by weight of a water soluble zinc salt or a hydrate thereof; where weight percentages are based on the total weight of the composition. The present invention also relates to a water treatment tablet comprising 35-95 wt% calcium hypochlorite; from 1 to 50% by weight of magnesium sulphate or a hydrate thereof; from 0.1 to 10% by weight of calcium oxide; and from 0.1 to 10% by weight of a water soluble zinc salt or a hydrate thereof; where weight percentages are based on the total weight of the composition. |
