abstract |
4- (N-AZACYCLOalkyl) ANILIDE DERIVATIVES AS POTASSIUM CHANNEL MODULATORS. This invention provides a compound of formula (IA) where X = O or S; Y is O or S; q = 1 or 0; and other substituents are defined herein. Such compounds may affect the opening of, or otherwise modulate, voltage-sealed potassium channels. They are potentially useful for the treatment and prevention of diseases and disorders that are affected by activation or modulation of potassium ion channels. Such condition is characterized by seizure disorders. |
