COMPOSITION FOR BLOCKING INPUT AT LEAST ONE Shigella SERIES IN A PERMISSIVE CELL, COMPOSITION FOR TREATMENT AND / OR PREVENTION OF AN INFECTION WITH Shigella, USES, INPUT LOCKING KIT AND METHODS. The present invention relates to compositions and methods of blocking ShigeIIa from entering an animal cell in order to provide protection against ShigeIIa infections or reduce its severity. More particularly, it relates to the use of IpaD protein obtained from natural sources and / or by recombinant synthesis or technology and its conjugates to induce neutralization of antibodies that have protective activity against various Shigella serotypes, particularly S. flexneri.
