abstract |
GENETICALLY MANIPULATED MICROBIO, METHOD FOR THE FORMATION OF A GENETICALLY MANIPULATED MICROBIO, METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF SULIC ACID AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A N-ACIL SULIC ACID ANALOG. The present invention relates to a metabolically engineered E. coli strain which produces sialic acid and to a method for producing said strain. In the projected E. coli cells, the nanT (sialic acid transporter) and nanA (sialic acid alsolase) genes are deactivated and the neuC and neuB sialic acid biosynthesis genes in group B Neisseria meningitidis are introduced and overexpressed in nanT cells. -Anna of E. Coli. Additionally, E. coli glucosamine gene glms synthase is co-overexpressed with neuB and neuC. |
